At Full Cycle, we strive to provide exceptional service to our customers while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency. We are fully equipped at all of our stores to provide full support to e-bikes with motors from Shimano, Bosch, Fazua, Mahle, and Giant. After careful consideration and in response to the challenges posed by certain e-bikes, we have established the following policy regarding the refusal of service of e-bikes purchased from online retailers or big box stores such as Amazon or Walmart.

1. Service Eligibility: We do not provide service for e-bikes purchased from online retailers or big box stores. This decision has been made to ensure the safety and quality of service we provide. Even if we’re not touching any part of the e-assist system, if it’s not a system we carry or has been modified, we will not work on it.
2. Safety Concerns: E-bikes purchased from these sources may not meet regulatory standards for safety, particularly concerning their batteries. Such batteries pose a significant risk of fire hazards and other safety issues, which we cannot compromise on. They pose an insurance risk as well as health and safety.
3. Availability of Replacement Parts: E-bikes purchased from online retailers or big box stores often lack access to genuine replacement parts and components. This poses challenges in maintaining the integrity and performance of the e-bikes, which impacts the quality of service we can offer.
4. Advance Notification: We kindly request our customers to please understand and respect our policy before scheduling an appointment for e-bike service. We are committed to transparency and want to ensure that customers are aware of our limitations in advance.
5. Chargers: Under no circumstances are chargers to be brought in for e-bikes for service, as charging them can lead to hazards at our store location which we are not able to operate with.
