Retül Fit Process
STEP 1: FOOT ASSESSMENT
The fitter will perform a simple foot assessment to understand your current limitations, if any, and to determine the correct size custom footbed for your cycling shoes.
STEP 2: SETTING THE MOLDING TRAY
Once the assessment is complete, then you will take a seat on the Retül Footbed stand so that you are sitting in a proper position for optimal molding.
Your foot will be placed into the Retül tray where the fitter will begin to mold the tray material around the contours of each foot.
STEP 3: HEATING AND FORMING THE FOOTBED
Once the tray material is molded, then the fun begins!
Your fitter will begin the process of heating the footbed blank until pliable.
Once the footbed blank is flexible enough it will be carefully placed into the molded tray where you will apply light pressure on top of each footbed for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 4: FINE TUNING
After the blank is cooled the custom footbed can be trimmed as needed for a precise fit in your cycling shoes.
STEP 4: GO RIDE!
After all the steps are complete, then you will have a ready-to-use custom footbed that you can wear right out of the studio and on to your next cycling adventure.
